DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences has unveiled a new animal nutrition manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China.
The company has established the new facility to provide customised solutions to the local animal production industry by using its advanced technology and as per its global quality standards.
The new manufacturing facility will help DuPont to expand its offerings to the customers in the Chinese animal nutrition market.
DuPont animal nutrition business unit director Aart Mateboer said: “We look forward to providing our key accounts a more customized offering, as well as a larger range of packaging sizes to better meet our customers’ needs.
“It provides us enhanced capabilities to launch many new products out of our global R&D pipeline to support the evolving needs of our customers in China.”
DuPont Animal Nutrition provides feed enzymes, betaine, phytogenics and probiotics
DuPont Animal Nutrition, a provider of nutritional health solutions, offers feed enzymes, betaine, phytogenics and probiotics to the customers.
The company’s capabilities are based on the quality and quantity of its trials, including more than 80,000 guts sampled from over 500 farms.
It also invested in omics technologies and microbiome research, as well as collaborated with major commercial, governmental and academic partners to improve its capabilities.
DuPont Health & Bioscience Asia Pacific regional director Vik Prabhu said: “We recently expanded our capability at our Shanghai Animal Nutrition Applications & Technical Service Laboratory, which is an excellent complement to this new operation.
“Due to African Swine Fever and Covid-19, our customers have adapted quickly to changing conditions and this facility is designed to provide flexible local response to our most valued customers.”
