Farmers Edge has entered into a partnership with Gibson Insurance Group to deliver superior risk management solutions to attract elite growers and fight dynamic market conditions.

Based in Canada, Farmers Edge is a digital agriculture firm, which offers vertically integrated digital platform, featuring in-field sensors, daily satellite imagery, and artificial intelligence.

The platform has in-built tools to alleviate risks and enhance connectivity with trusted farm advisors.

Additionally, the integrated digital platform consolidates all data into one consistent format and offers a 360-degree stakeholder view, providing digital decision-support for all.

The digital decision-support offered by the platform includes field-centric weather conditions and forecasts; predictive crop, pests, and disease models; automated crop health change detection and real-time equipment monitoring.

In 2019, the digital platform incorporated enhanced Smart Claim and Smart Reporting features, which help growers to easily share data with Gibson Insurance Group.

It offers aggregated reporting, automated prediction and notification of claims, in addition to simplified processing, and better-planted acre verification.
