A Daintree company GE Current has reached three new distribution partnership agreements to expand horticulture distribution network to support indoor growers across Europe and Asia.

The company has signed agreements with Agro Top Garden, Helle-tech Oy and Vitro HTS to make its Lucalox HPS and Arize LED portfolio available for more greenhouse growers across Eurasia.

Under the terms of the deal, the growers focusing on horticulture, floriculture and the burgeoning medicinal cannabis market, will have easier access to the lighting technologies, even if they depend on traditional HPS or looking for a transition to low-energy LEDs to meet net-zero carbon goals.

GE Current said that Agro Top Garden is the exclusive European distributor of Lucalox HPS and a master distributor of the Arize LED portfolio.

The distribution partnership will enable Agro Top Garden to advise cannabis growers on the most appropriate, low-energy lighting technology to nurture high-quality, abundant harvests every time.

GE Current Horticulture business development manager Malcolm Yare said: “There are all sorts of variables that combine to create the most productive greenhouse environment, from location and surrounding geography, to weather patterns and the type of crop grown.

“By expanding our network of distribution partners, we can ensure that growers receive expert, localised advice and support to ensure that they get the right Current system to maximise their yields and grow their businesses.”

Helle-Tech provides a range of greenhouse products, up to complete turn-key installations and partners with its customers across every stage of planning and installing.

Turkey-based Vitro HTS focuses on supporting growers across Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The company supports new market entrants and existing growers with GE Current’s lighting systems that reduce energy consumption and costs, while boosting revenue.
