Presidion Ag, a Florida-based precision agriculture technologies developer, has launched two new products, N-yield Maxx and N-Bound Maxx, to its line-up of nitrogen enhanced fertilisers

Its product line already includes Neon Air, Neon Surface and Neon Soil which are blends of N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT) and Dicyandiamide (DCD) at different ratios to address the unique needs of customers based on soil makeup, geography and potential mode of nitrogen loss.

The first product N-Yield Maxx is claimed to possess 50% NBPT and also addresses the need for a high level of active ingredient product to protect against the volatility of nitrogen and could also lead to lower input costs and drier urea.

The higher load rate is made possible by the PenXcel delivery system, which was developed by Eco World Research and Development Group and it offers superior coverage and cold weather stability.

Presidion Ag further stated that the N-Yield Maxx offers 85% more active ingredient that most commercially available products to nitrogen source, offering more above-ground protection against volatility.

The second product N-Bound Maxx has 38% Dicyandiamide (DCD), designed to deliver high active ingredient levels to protect against nitrogen loss from leaching and denitrification.

The higher load rate is claimed to bring low input rates and also offers much drier urea compared to the standard 28% products that are available in the market. It is also dependent on the PenXcel delivery system.

N-Bound Maxx offers 35% more active ingredient compared to other products, offering more below ground protection from leaching and denitrification.

The new products offer benefits such as lower input costs and lower operational costs

Adding to the Neon product line-up, the two new products are claimed to offer additional benefits such as lower input costs, faster application, lower operational cost, lower freight and efficiency in inventory handling.

Independent agriculture consultant, analyst and former Presidion Ag president Ray Perkins said: “These products and recent USPTO rulings appear to provide a new definition of products available in the marketplace to consumers, particularly in more price optimized high concentrate products.”

“It appears the new leadership of Presidion Ag. coming out of the challenges of 2020 will be taking a more retail-oriented approach bypassing traditional distribution channels and passing these cost savings downstream in an effort to lower input costs for growers and provide the Fertilizer market greater access to these type products.”
