Wilbur-Ellis will allow Ceres Imaging to advance its precision services business in the US

Farming solutions company Ceres Imaging has collaborated with Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness to provide its technology in core markets across the US.

Wilbur-Ellis, a provider of precision agriculture technology, crop protection, seed and nutritional products, will help Ceres Imaging to advance its precision services business in the region.

Wilbur-Ellis business development director Doug Grott said: “We were impressed with Ceres Imaging’s accuracy and reliability, and we especially like that it goes one step further, making it easy to interpret the images and get to answers.”

Via the partnership, Wilbur-Ellis will provide Ceres Imaging’s service to its customers in California, Washington and Oregon.

The representatives of Wilbur will also use the imagery to deliver an increased level of value to its customers.

The deal allows Wilbur’s customers to access a full suite of Ceres Imaging’s analytics and imagery products.

Established in 1921, the Wilbur-Ellis companies market and distribute agricultural products, animal feed and speciality chemicals and ingredients.

With more than 160 branch locations across the US, Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness generates over $2bn sales per annum.

Ceres Imaging provides aerial imagery and data analytics services to help growers and farm advisors make proactive decisions.

In November 2019, Wilbur-Ellis acquired speciality liquid chemical manufacturer Nachurs Alpine Solutions (NAS) for an undisclosed sum.
